How I can help

Whether you're seeking support for a child, navigating something difficult yourself, or working through challenges as a family — I offer a warm, tailored approach for every stage of life.

Children & Young People

Ages 3 –18

Children & Young People

Children and teenagers often struggle to put their feelings into words — and that's completely normal. I use creative, play-based, and expressive approaches that meet young people where they are.

Who it's for

This service is for children aged 3–18 who may be experiencing anxiety, big emotions, friendship difficulties, school challenges, family changes, grief or trauma, as well as neurodivergent young people seeking affirming support.

Sessions are child-led and age-appropriate. I draw on play therapy, creative and expressive approaches, and attachment and trauma-informed practice to help young people feel safe, understood, and empowered.

  • Play Therapy and creative expression
  • Anxiety and emotional regulation support
  • Attachment and trauma-informed care
  • Parent and caregiver collaboration where appropriate
  • School liaison (with consent)

Adults & Individuals

Life can feel overwhelming at times — whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, grief, relationship difficulties, or simply a sense that something isn't quite right. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what's going on and find a way forward.

Who it's for

This service is for adults seeking support with anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout,  grief and loss, relationships or parenting difficulties, life transitions, self-worth, identity, neurodivergence, or a general sense of feeling stuck.

I offer a warm, person-centered, strengths-based and neuro-affirming approach.  Depending on your needs, I may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy  (CBT), DBT-informed  emotional regulation skills, mindfulness,  creative approaches and conversation. Together, these can help you understand patterns in your thoughts, feelings and responses, develop practical coping skills and find a way forward that feels right for you.

  • Anxiety, stress and depression support
  • Grief, loss and life transitions
  • Trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches
  • CBT, DBT and mindfulness-based techniques
  • A warm, non-judgmental space to be heard

What to expect

How sessions work

Starting counselling can feel like a big step. Here's what the process looks like from first contact to your first session — so you know exactly what to expect.

01

Get in touch

Send me a message or give me a call. There's no pressure — just a friendly conversation to see if we're a good fit and to answer any questions you have.

02

Complete an intake form

Before your first session I'll send you a short intake form to help me understand what brings you to counselling and anything important you would like me to know.

03

Your first session

The first session is about getting to know each other. We'll talk about what's brought you to counselling, what you're hoping for, and how we'll work together.

04

Ongoing sessions

If you choose to continue, we'll agree on the frequency of sessions that best suits your needs. Sessions are generally 60 minutes,  and we'll review how things are going along the way.
